Hi I am presently piecing a sampler with blacks and whites prints and whites and blacks and a bright yellow. I think it will look good. Will post when it's complete. Will probably need help getting the pic up.

Well, I find that there is a lot of bright yellow fabric out there. I like the lighter shades of yellow. Seems like the bright yellows draw your eyes to the yellow shade and not the quilt.

Yellow is my favorite color. It's bright and cheerful. I'm currently working on a quilt that has LOTS of yellow in it. I personally think it's very pretty and don't understand why someone would be hesitant to use yellow in a quilt.

It looks so cheery and bright. I love the fabric btw. I have a farmers dress made from it. :-)

I love yellow in my quilts ( only one so far) it seems to brighten the whole thing up. No picture yet as it's not completely done yet.

If you recall, it hasn't been that many years ago that it was hard to find yellow prints. I had made the remark to a clerk one time and she wondered if it was because the dye was harder to find. Couldn't say myself, but it has become much easier to find recently. When I think of it, my very first full size quilt was yellow and brown. Gave it to my sister who thought it was great. Happy she is enjoying it still.

I just love all these quilts. I didn't realize how much I liked seeing yellow in a quilt.

Some of mine with yellow.

Sorry, but couldn't upload them for some reason. Will try later.

Honestly I think it is rare if I don't have a little yellow in every quilt I do.
