Red face

I am called ALA and Grampy is called Geeps, our eldest grandson just started calling me ala, first he said la la then he changed to ala, so that was it. Our granddaughter had trouble with grampy so she called him geeps...so at one house we are ala and geeps and another we are ala and gramps. love it.

Honey walk to me, Honey I love etc. and then when he started to talk he called me Honey and he is 21 now and my name is still Honey. I have 2 grandsons and my he calls me Honey too. My oldest GD, 6 yrs old calls me Grandma. Our 2 yr. old GD calls me MiMi, her choice. We started out with her calling me grandma, she then went to Grammie, Now to MiMi. The kids usually decide. My husband is PaPa.
My Ex-mother-in-law wanted to be called Granny. My oldest son who is the oldest grandchild ended up calling her Googie. It stuck now everybody calls her that. Even the nieces and nephews.

My step grandson calls me grandma Kim
his brother which is my biological grandson calls me grandma Kim, because he had 2 other grandmas on his Mom's side.
My grand daughter from my daughter calls me grandma, but she used to call me gammy, cause she couldn't pronounce it right, and she calls my mom, great grandma.
