LOL i am the one and only owner of my two-tone 301A but my daughter has made it clear to her brothers that she will 'make a home for it' when i am gone. makes me happy to know that it will not end up discarded.

They look great! The prices of the 301's seem to have skyrocketed on e-Bay! I have two!

I can hardly stand this owing 3 - 301s!LOL I really wanted to own a 301 or a 401 with cams but ended up with a 403. I really love how the 403 operates, so now I am calling my collection complete. It is really fun when you can find a machine for $40. Anyway, just take it a little easy on those of us that don`t have luxuries (giggle).

Yes, and this is why I feel guilty:> I sewed 9 hours straight FMQ on one of these. Full speed and it did amazing. I've been piecing today with one of the others. I'm still waiting for a replacement part on the black one to take her for a spin. I love them!

Default 301 machines

Beautiful 301's. They are one of my favorite machines. I don't know how to time them can you explain this process?

If you google timing sewing machines, there are a couple sites with pictures to explain it.
