Gorgeous. I agree with Rachel, these are my go-to projects when I need mental health quilting.

I have to echo some of the previous posts: This is the first string quilt I really loved! I have been threatening to clean out the linen closet to get rid of old sheets and using them for backing on the blocks instead of paper sounds like a great idea. I am going to have to do this one....when I get to that closet!

I am making a spider web quilt, but it calls for muslin as the foundation.
I use muslin as the foundation so there is NO removal. Voila! Done and easy peasy!

This is my go to pattern. When i just want to make something. You don't have to think about it. I have used muslin and dryer sheets so i don't have to remove anything. I make my muslin 12 finished squares. You can get all kinds of looks depending on how you turn the blocks. I love it.

When you use muslin for the foundation, you don't have paper to tear away, so that saves a lot of time. I like this way better than on paper. This is "foundation piecing" rather than "paper piecing."
