I got to thinking - why don't the car people make heated steering wheels?
And why don't they make all car bumpers out of recycle tires? That would solve 2 problems, no more tires in the landfills and no more dented bumpers saving on insurance rates.

Good thought. We could use bumpers like that in your city and mine, San Antonio.

You surprised me....I thought you were going to say that you fixed all of you quilting problems while sitting in traffic. For 10 years, I traveled on a Thruway about 70 minutes one-way. When I had a quilt that just didn't look right....or didn't go together like I thought it should, I'd walk away....putting the problem in my mind to percolate for awhile. Any quilt related problems I solved came within those 140minutes.

I have a heated steering wheel and I love it almost as much as heated seats!

I can deal with the steering wheel, but the bumper idea is a winner ;-)

They already do make heated steering wheels!
Maybe you don't see them, because you are so far south??

My moms new car has a heated and cooled steering wheel! The tires on bumpers makes me think of bumper cars. Now that might be fun if we would just bounce off instead of actually smashing onto another car

Hey, you younger generation are getting soft. Try wearing gloves and warm coats and then you would have no need for heated steering wheels. You really pay through the pocket book for these luxury items. Laughing here.
