I just bought some patterns to do this as well. (If time permits that is ). I had never heard of the felt thing and I just bought card stock yesterday for it. dang it!

When one my daughters got married, got married i crossed stitch the announcement cards. Many guests put them in a frame. You did a great job and created keepsake for family and friends.
