Ouch. I feel your pain. I had to buy the Fons & Porter glove for that very reason.

That's not funny, hope you mend quickly. Whoever did the suturing, hope they did as well as a quilter did with the stitching.

Ouch! So sorry - haven't done that yet so thanks for the posting! Still paying for 2 ER visits from my babylock 10 thread! Yea...needle broke off in my finger and then disappears! No way to take them out.. Fist one done on my bd and 2nd one 6 days later on new finger on other hand!! Both times I was tired and getting ready to quit...we need to listen to our bodies here!! After reading this post - I feel so much better that my 5 yr old granddaughter only got my lr sofa not herself...will have to share this with my son it might make him feel better too. PS..she's 7 now and lives to sew but not with RC's

Ouch, ouch! got a big bandage?????????

I did something stupid. I laid my cutter down with the blade exposed then flicked my right hand index
finger into the blade cutting it no more than an 1/8 of a inch right on the nail bed. THAT HURT! And bleed like crazy,
too

Which is exactly why I have a Klutz glove and I prefer to use my Accuquilt cutter. I don't have time to have injured hands. I'm a nurse and need to work.........

My sister did that once and she is more careful than I am. I recommend the glove. Once you get in the habit of using it you hardly think about it. There have been some other bad cuts posted here and it confirms to me the need to be careful. Hope you heal quickly and that it doesn't hurt too much.
