I was there at 7:45 am. Had to get to work so I couldn't spare the time to stand in the cutting line. Was out shortly after 8.

Everyone love to save. I shop with coupons year round to avoid crowds.

I am going today... hope it is not as bad. If it is..... I will just leave. I cannot stand for an hour waiting to check out with my back issues. Good sales but not good if I am down the rest of the day. I am also going to my local quilt shop to deliver two of the four quilts I need to have quilted. Is $0.0175 a square inch a fair price to pay?

Yes, I went. I was there when they opened so it wasn't bad at all. They had a lot of employees cutting fabric and a lot of cashiers. I spent $17 and save $66. And....I was back home in a hour. lol

Went shopping on Black Friday for the first time, at JoAnn's @6 a.m. Bought flannel and Blizzard fleece for charity projects. Spent $350, saved $975.

I hit Joann's at 6 right after the crowds went inside. All I needed was the 10 drawer scrapbooking carts. I bought 3 of them for less than one at the regular price. Saved a ton.

I do Joann's online and get same deals.....last year their site crashed for about 10 hours but they still honored prices. Never go out in the madness again!

This is the 3rd year in a row for me for Black Friday. It is all in the attitude. My daughter and I look forward to it as an adventure not a sale shopping day. For the last two years my sister home visiting has gone with us and it is the only time we can visit as we must travel 100 miles for shopping. We then meet a friend of my for lunch. As far as Joanns, yes I was there and it was a mad house. However, I just got off the web site, had some great bargins and free shipping to boot. Check it out.

I went at 8:30 pm. Not crowded, no line and still a good selection. Got what I needed including wrapping paper for
.99/roll.
