no, but there is a design. you can't see it but the blue gingham in the middle if his initial "J"

I only do square blocks when I do the Jean quilts, but yours sure is pretty. May try that next time a make one.
I do the rag quilt pattern also with the jeans. started 2 grand daughters workng on flannel rag quilts this past summer, hope they finish in time for their county fair this coming year. enjoyed showing them how to use the machine and sew the blocks. One of the easiest for them to learn on. next will be one they have to quilt after the blocks are made..

I, too, have only made the 'squares' quilts from the blue jeans, but your quilt is very nice and I like it a lot. Your grandchildren will get much use of them. I've made only three blue jeans quilts so far, but have boxes of jeans waiting to be cut up!!

I tried this pattern and had a terrible time w/ it. Nothing seemed to line up right! After seeing yours maybe I'll drag it out and start over!
