That's so nice of you. I'm sure that she really needed something like this. It helps the soul for sure!

Default Thoughtful gift.

I traced a stitching pattern on white fabric, included an embroidery needle and a skein of red floss. I made a long home made envelope so I wouldn't have to put too many creases in the fabric. I put lots of Get Well writing on the envelope and dropped it off to her daughter to bring to her in the hospital. That was a week ago.. I just got word back that she loved it and is working on it 15 or 20 minutes at a time. It is a nice distraction from her medical troubles. She shows everyone who comes to visit!.. I'm so pleased that she is enjoying it.

The photo shows the faint marked stitching lines of the Meg Hawley 2002 pattern called "Snow"..
What a thoughtful gift. I am sure it was much appreciated. What better time to have a small project to keep your hands and mind busy when you can't do much else. You are a special friend.

Your idea and then how you implemented it is fantastic! Such a cute design and redwork is perfect! You are so sweet! What a perfect way to uplift your friend in the hospital! Not too big to overwhelm her and just right to get her happy and excited about something. You did GOOD Gail!

It's always nice to have something to do to keep your mind and your hands busy. A hospital or healing time at home can get so boring without something to do. You are a very kind and thoughtful friend.

When dad was in a farming accident and laid up for over 6 months he became a very accomplished "paint-by-number" artist! lol
