    Question Block with no owner

I received a wonderful block in today's mail, it's a blue and white 9 patch, but no name. The envelope was closed with blue painter's tape and post marked Birmingham, AL sent out October 8. It must have been delivered to the wrong address because the envelope was openned (slashed through the top-don't know how it didn't harm the block-the address label has just the face of Liberty, the rest is ripped off.) Whoever opened this held on to it for a while before sending it on-not eaten by the mail machines, no body bag or explaination for the damage. With the information on the envelope I think it came from Kris 2011, but if anyone knows for sure, please let me know so I can put a name on it.

PS I still have a a lot of blocks out as well, and hoping that everyone that sent there F8 to me got there blocks back! With the board change it messed up a lot of keeping track.

I didn't think anyone had dropped out of the winter swap...I received everyone's f8's.

April would be aware of anyone dropping out and she would be the one to post any information she received and what the status of the F8's would be. Until we see a post from her I'd say everyone is still participating. If you have received a PM from someone directly, please share that information with April so she can check it out for the rest of us.

It seems some finished up so quickly it's amazing. I'm glad we have until Feb though because I'm lucky to get to work on one or two a week at this time. I'm over 1/2 finished so I'm in good shape I think. For those that are finished, please be patient with those of us that aren't. I wouldn't get concerned until in January about who hasn't returned a block. That's when I plan to list the status of who hasn't sent theirs back to me and the status of what I have left to do.

Don't throw away all those left-overs from the F8s you receive -- this is what I did with scraps from the 4 Boomerangs I did, as a few pieces from my stash to give me the zise I want.
