I must be the weird one as I do not have a lot of UFO's. When I start something I usually finish before going into something new, exception if working on a big quilt, I may make several small items before going back to work on it.

Hey, how do you get someone else to adopt your projects? I think that's a great idea! I have some I don't really care to finish but I can't bear to throw them away! Maybe I could advertise: "Unfinished projects up for adoption. Those interested PM me!" LOL

I'm sure there are lots of people that would love to adopt your UFO's. If you've trully lost interest in finishing them why not pass them on to be finished and enjoyed by someone else. There are a bunch of people that donate quilts to charity, they would love to finish them and pass them on.

I did that with a couple a while ago on one of the secret partner swaps on the board here. She did charity quilts so I sent her a whole scrap quilt I cut up to her. It works. I would pm you, but what would I do with more? I did finish a dq I cut up for a swap. Used what I had. It was very pretty. Now to get on some more. I had to put them away for a moment because had to make two for classes I am teaching. Used up fabric in stash though.

I've picked up a quilt top I started about two years ago. I put it away after a month and never picked it up again for various reasons. Today I made block 20 of 50 I still need to make. After that I'll have to put the blocks into rows then the rows together, and piece and add the border. So way too much work for December.

So my goal will be to finish piecing the 30 blocks I've still got to go! Still pretty ambitious considering how busy December always is, but I might actually have a shot at finishing them!

I managed to get two more done tonight, so I now have 22 blocks. Almost half-way there!

Wish I was more like you ... no, I really don't as I love the variety and the enthusiasm that follows an impulsive purchase. However both my budget and my husband wish I was more like you! LOL
