I'm hoping that it is okay to use some Celtic or Irish emblems for my January quilt for the swap if that is okay.

I would love to experience a Christmas with snow, warm fires ablazing and the hot Christmas food. Many people here just have a BBQ on Christmas Day with cold meats and salad.

Not sure about the loss of electricity jillnjo, but this photo of the snow is so beautiful, thank you for sharing

Also, I still cannot seem to get the photos to size. Had trouble with the imagesizer software getting it loaded. Maybe I just did not read enough directions or not real thorough. Want to post photos.
QuilterMomma, I will PM you the way I resize my photos and see if that works for you.

I think those would be very appropriate being that you are from Dublin! :-)

As I told you in my PM, I will contact the post office on monday because the tracking shows it was delivered. As soon as I find out anything, I will let you and chele know. I am sorry I cannot post a picture of the dq you sent me. It is a shame because it is so cute in the brown, oranges, greens of fall. I have posted previously that I received and liked the quilt, but maybe it got lost in the shuffle.

Jillnjo, what a beautiful area you live in! That birdhouse is so sweet. While I'm no fan of snow shoveling, Christmas just doesn't seem like Christmas without snow. I can't imagine what it's like in the warmer areas of the country - and world - with warm weather. But that explains the decorations of flamingos with Santa hats!
