I use them and am impressed with how they catch dye that escapes from new fabrics, esp. brights and darks.

I use them but didn't know you could use them more than once. This is wonderful to know.

I bought a box of Shout color catchers after reading about the product on this board. I threw one in with 3 pieces of red fabric I bought last week and was amazed how red that little color catcher was. I have a front loader so I just throw one in a small lingerie bag.

Amazing product.

Hi and welcome to the board from Iowa. I have not used them, but have heard wonderful things from others about them. Thanks for sharing your positive experience (smile).

yes. I DO....and so does my 20yo son...apparently he gets his laundry faster by throwing it all in one load...arrrrgghhh....no wonder he had to run the dryer for 2 1/2 hours to dry it all...sigh.....guess what his lesson was today...

Yes, I use one that I purchased at the fabric store that is a color and dirt grabber. It says on the box that it can be used for 30 washes. It works great.

Where do you find these? I have never heard of them and I could use them on everyday laundry too! So, where do I go to purchase these?

Thanks

The Shout color catchers are at Target (store only - I just checked online) and Carbonas (multi-use) are at JoAnn's store only - (I just checked online).

Mee as well.... I always prewash! I have an early quilt that I made when my 17 yr old son was small. When I was first learning they told me never prewash. Well in my opinion - that's wrong advice. I need to wash his finally. He never uses it - it just has sat in a heap in his room for oh about 10 years. Guess I need to go get some more color catchers and throw that thing in. I'm just so scared because there's dark green (that I know bleeds) and white in this quilt. But, it's time. Thanks for the reminder. Yes! Love them

The first time I heard about color catchers was here. I had purchased some red and black fabric and used the Shout Color catcher. Worked great, picked up some black and red. Love them
