Default Sometimes can't get to the "next" page(s) error

Sometimes when I am looking at all the post and want to go to the next page I get this message: vBulletin Message
Sorry - no matches. Please try some different terms.
This just happened I was in the What's New section and finished the first page but couldn't go to any of the next 4 as I kept getting the above message. Any one else having this problem and is it something I can fix??
BTW there are many, many talented people on this Board who are doing/making beautiful work. I would like to say thank you to each and everyone of you who are making my life a little brighter each time I come on "Board". Merry Christmas and Happy Holidays!

That is the message that you would get if you used "Search Thread" with no information in the search box. It's strange that you would get it when trying to go to the next page, especially since the "What's New" section doesn't have that "search thread" box. Try sending this question to the technicians. Patrice provided all the information about how to do it here - http://www.quiltingboard.com/main-f1...s-t168788.html

I've had the same experience as you many times. I found that if I backed completely out and went back to my e-mail and entered again, the problem went away. I'm sure that is a clumsy solution for those that are more computer savvy than I am, but it does work. I'll be interested to see what others are trying.

i would like to help with this but i have not been able to recreate the event [i think] you are describing.

if i click on "What's New" while I'm logged in, I am able to navigate from one page of the threads/topic list to the next, all the way through to the last page.

if i click on the digest link in an email (which takes me to the board but does not log me in), and then click on "What's New" i am still able to access ever page of the list.

sooooooo ... i think i must have an incorrect "understanding" of the problem.

i will watch this thread. if somebody can clear up my misunderstanding, i will try again to help you all figure it out.

When I subscribe to a post I get that message after I have saved it. I am unable to go back to the screen I was on. It also shows a 'click here if unable to return to orig. page' or some such thing but that doesn't work either. So I have to return to What's new and it starts with page one again.
