The joys of waxed paper!

Yes, I was going to mention tissue paper, although the waxed paper can help remove some stuff from the bottom of an iron.
Tissue paper works really well for rubber backing type of stuff, I used it when applying non-skid backing to a sewing machine pad. Works wonderful for helping things move along, and tears off easily too - just a little flex of the fabric pulls it off along the seam for the most part, and tweezers help remove the rest.

Thank you so much for the tip. I am doing a TShirt Quilt. The first one I did the material stretched so bad I had trouble making the corners meet. So I bought lighter weight interfacing as it was also stiff. This may just take care of my problem. Sure appreciate everyone's pointers on here. They are priceless. I never miss this blog.
