I now have a smile on my face and tears in my eyes. What a wonderful example of the true spirit of Christmas. In October, this year,my guild president's program was a game of musical fabric. We all brought a yard then tore it in half each time the music stopped. We kept one piece and passed the second, continuing until we were down to a 6" piece. Then she challenged us to make a quilt with all our fabric and bring the completed quilt to our Christmas party. All the quilts were given to the Christmas Alert program in our community. It was amazing how beautiful and different each turned out.

That story made me smile and when I read it to my husband he smiled too. It's nice to just help someone weather it be in a big way or small. It just makes your heart feel good. I paid for some items a lady at the dollar store had put back because she didn't have enough money. It was about 2 weeks before Christmas I did not see any need that her children shouldn't have them so I gave them to her before she left the store and she was very grateful that made me smile.
