    Default almost caught up

I am almost caught up. Have all of my step 6 done, only need to finish step 5 and I'll be ready for Friday. I am lovin' how this is turning out and I'm so excited to put it together.

Today I am going to finish the last three of step 4 then move on to step 5 & 6. Hope to be caught up by Friday's clue. Thank you to those that took time to post their progress in pictures. I have run out of black prints and am thinking about just using solids for the solid squares in the stars. Echo, your photo really helped me to visualize what would happen with solids. Everyone's work looks great! Oh man, I think I am hooked on mysteries.

Now that Christmas is over I am working on step 3. I hoping to get it done today. Can't wait to get to step 4 and RED, RED, RED.

I'm gonna whine just a tiny tiny bit..... OMG There's a TON of those black triangles; 110 down; 220 to go.

    OK whine over.

I'll whine just a little bit with you. I have been stuck on clue 5 and it just seems like it never ends! I really want to start clue 6, but I am swimming in a sea of triangles that are begging to become wing blocks. I hope to get all of 5 finished by Wednesday and then start on clue 6.

WHOA!!! Ya'll are just rocking this mystery!!! Can't believe all the work you've gotten done. Don't forget to post your pics over at the picture thread so that everyone can see them.

Bookworm and Mom, don't let Bonnie hear you, lol I'm so far behind. I've had to put it down for awhile but am saving each clue for when I can get back at it. Too much going on right now for me to focus on this.

Sadie Mae, thank you for staying on top of everything here. I'm doing better and will be back particpating more. Life is still crazy, but I think I'm over the biggest crisis for now. Thank you!

CoyoteMagic, I am so glad you are doing better. You are a true hero in my book.

Bonnie's number one rule: no whining. lol Just do what you can, when you can. It isn't a race. I have been really unmotivated all weekend, so I only have 5 Ohio Stars finished and I still have lots of wings to finish pressing. I'm not stressing over it, I will catch up when I am ready.

I said tiny whine.... so tiny its more of a whimper.....

    Whimpers are allowed right?

Anyways.... I have a little over 100 left on the wings (thankfully).

I hit a small snag. I don't think I have enough red/orange to finish out my strings. I'm thinking I'll just add in some yellows to the last 18. I think that will work fairly well.
