I love the tiny prints and blenders in all colors, especially in brights. While larger prints are ok in some applications, the small prints can be used in almost any quilt. I Love anything in teal, but it is such a hard color to find.

I make a lot of baby quilts and am always looking for small prints like duck, rabbits, little dolls, teddy bears, and tone on tones to go with it.

Pinterest, home of trendy crafters and wannabes, is showing a huge surge in flame colors ---reds, oranges, yellows. Goes with the industry predictions for flame orange being the color of 2012. So I would be in search of colors that work well with the flame colors (which dominate my stash already). I'm liking greys, black on black, midnight blues.

Get some Tula Pink in your shop! She's from Missouri, too! Personally, I am hooked on 30's and 1800's repros, which seem to be dwindling in my local shops. However, I always look for the fabrics from the younger designers, who seem to have broadened the quilters' palette with very 1950-ish prints and colors. I'm always looking for interesting stripes for binding. In all the shops I visit, there are always too many batiks, I think. I prefer mixing prints and never use solids.

I love batiks. I also enjoy precuts. I'm having a blast using my brand new twister ruler. I like to stock up on blenders (always) and someone else mentioned white on white! I always love patriotic fabrics as I make quilts for soldiers.

Good luck with your shop!!!

I'm working on a quilt with pretty orange/peach colored fabrics and it also has greens in it. It's a BOM project. My first orange quilt. I'm always searching for a nice array of greens and the brown/tan spectrums.

since it doesn't look like you sell on-line, maybe you should pass out a questionnaire at your local Quilt Guilds. Anyone completing could get a chance to win a $10.00 Gift Certificate?
