Oooohhhhhh! Thanks for posting this treasure chest of fabrics! Goodness they have to plan quite far ahead of time, don't they? I hope y'all are going to be carrying some of these! I can see what I'll be doing online for a bit.

I love all Moda's fabric, some more than others of course. It would be hard to pick from all the beautiful ones here. I really like the deep rich colors of the Winter Elegance line. You will have fun making displays from all these beautiful choices.

I love jewel tones, darker fabrics (the only fabric I need to force myself to buy is the lighter shades ... they just don't register when I walk into a store), I loved Christmas Spirit, Holiday in Kashmir and Holiday Medley - others had a few pieces I could see myself buying, but those are the ones I was drawn to - but I already have a large basket of Christmas fabrics I need to use before I start drooling over new fabrics!

I like the Blitzen line and the Kate Spain. That said, I'm not big on seasonal fabrics and would not likely buy yardage of either. A good deal on a precut I would go for, as they make fast and easy, well received gift quilts.

When are they coming out? I have a quilt that I have been working on (and off) for a year or so. Do not like the fabric I used, but settled as I could not find what I wanted. Saw a couple that were more of what I was looking for to begin with. Now I want to work on it! How long do I have to wait?

After a Look See I can tell you which fabrics I would be very tempted to buy. Each line has at least one or two. <o></o>
In the Blitzen collection some of those fabrics are wonderful, Holiday or not. I really love those tiny animal prints and also the damasks!<o></o>
Dear Mr. Clause is so retro / vintage! I love it all and can easily imagine the nostalgia of making a whole quilt out of this collection! Oh gosh I would order that in a heartbeat! <o></o>
All the colors in the Holiday Medley collection are so earthy and great. I especially love the cranberry red fabrics! <o></o>
In Share the Joy – check out that neat bell tree panel. That would make a great “tree” for apartments and small rooms.<o></o>
In Winter Elegance, I totally fell in love with the Frost colorway in the snowflake and hellebore / pine designs. <o></o>
And last but perhaps my favorite is that quilt in Snow Day Batiks. Is that Edyta Sitar’s collection? Gosh I love her fabrics and have quite a few in my stash but am always on the lookout for more!

Bet that was a bit much on the feedback, but I got over excited.

I saw a few pieces I wouldn't mind having but I'm not a big Moda fan. I'm not a fan of dusty tone colors or of the ever so popular 'country colors'. Also, sometimes the computer distorts the colors a bit so I'm looking forward to seeing them in person.

My favorite is the winter batiks. Like rapturesready, I'm not a fan of dusty or murky colors, which seemed to be featured in several of the collections, but I know there are others out there who will love them.

Cheers, K
