Oh my, you have some great potential there. Take one day at a time, and do a little...eventually it will get organized.

Sometimes I wonder if those with small spaces and not so much stuff have it better, yours looked well loved and I might trade mine for less stuff in it.

Since I always have clutter, I've adopted it as a partner. My DH has his own clutter. My sewing room is in the loft. so it is always there, and it is somewhat visible to everyone. Right now my DD and I are rearranging our work spaces to get better organization. But it has been a slow process. And there is a lot more to do. And , when I get up there I don't always want to clean. I want to sew!!
Thanks for sharing your pics. You are braver than I am at this point.

I am at the point where I am starting to get a bit overwhelmed. I have managed to buy and collect the 4 yrs I have been doing this. No one told me how addicting this is. While I have enjoyed the shopping and fun of it all, I can't work in clutter! So going forward in 2012 I am using what I got, and cleaning up and decluttering.

Now now there, please do not be so hard on yourself. No one ever said being creative must be neat! Enjoy the clean up! No really I bet you can pick up an item to put back in it's place and know who it was made for and such. Relive those happy memories as you re organize your space. Enjoy the process. Luann

No one and I mean no one is allowed in my basement, unless they r washing there clothes, they go near my stuff and fingers and hands will come off (lol). Its my women cave. Fortuneatly my family is grown and gone, so only hubs and I, but this goes for him also, he has a habit of getting into my tools, he won't use my scissors, because he bought me several Kai sets, all and all he knows better.

I started on my clean up yesterday. Got my cutting table all cleared (which is in another room) and then started in my main sewing room clearing up a desk in there (I had scrapbooking/cardmaking supplies out). That's almost done and now today the first thing I want to do is give my fw a good oiling. She was very busy the last few weeks. Good luck with finishing up your clean-up.
