Second picture.... top row... hearts and red/blue star appear to be smaller blocks. Are they? If so, you might have to add small strips to even out the block sizes.I agree that moving the ones with little flowers around might make a difference. Overall, very pretty.

I would try sashing between the blocks, and see if that is more pleasing to you.

They are all pretty. I would move the hearts to center, break up the ones with the flowers and move the red 2-color to the top left and see how that looks. Just my opinion.

I think that the blocks are beautiful. The one that stands out the most is the heart block. Because it is rounded and the rest pointed, I would use the heart block as the focal point and put it in the middle (or as close to the middle as possible). the rest of the blocks are great as they are.

I would leave all those blocks, just move them around to break up the points.

Blocks are pretty, I might get the stars away from the star and maybe add sashing.

I don't think there is anything wrong with the blocks themselves....they just need their placement tweaked a bit....I think the 3 on the bottom ....the ones that have larger areas of one color....need to be split up.....surround them more with blocks that have little pieces of color....it will tone them down and then they won't stand out so much

Sashing would help in the way they look. How were the blocks placked on the digarm with the patterns. It reminds me of the block of the month setting.

Great minds think alike I guess because the bottom 3 were the ones I thought didn't look quite right. The more I looked at them I decided that it's because of 2 things. 1 The pattern uses larger pieces of fabric 2 There's none of the red print in those 3 blocks. Just my opinion but maybe this is why you don't like those 3 so much.

The blocks and colors are fine. What is looking 'off' to you is the fact that you have one block with curves, and the rest are straight lines. I would make 3 more blocks with straight lines and put the heart block in the center. With your sashing separating the blocks, it will be beautiful.
