Wonderful quilt. It also reminds me of the Fourth of July. One of the best patriotic quilts I have seen

I think you are too hard on yourself. It looks great. Display it for Memorial Day, July 4th, and Vetern's Day. I think its lovely.

You really know how to balance colors and values and print scale. The fireworks print really plays off the stripes and it just 'clicks'! I'm glad you went back and finished it! And I love the back - even the border plays right along like a July 4 brass band!

It's great and very patriotic! I, too, have started using large pieces of fabric for backing. Great idea.

I also like your quilt. Do you have a pic of the brown and green one? Would be fun to see what your second choice was.
I need to finish some quilts that I started MORE than twenty years ago!! Keep up the good work.

I like it too. It will make a nice picnic quilt for the summer. Yeah! You finished it. Good for you. You never know.

You know what? I like it too! It's going to be just right displayed for the 4th of July! I particularly like the creativity of your backing!!!!
