That is amazing ... I've never had any luck in GW, but I'll keep visiting. Have fun ... would love to see photos of the fabric.

I'm in the suburbs of Chicago and have found entire bolts of fabric, now that is only once but thought I would let Susie know. If you are close to Rand and Arlington Heights Rd there is a Salvation Army that is very good. The fabric is located in the back left side of the store by the blankets etc. Hope that might help.

I happened to find two bolts of pink and mauve fleece for $12 each. They had a grey but I chose not to take it and was sorry when I got home. Oh well, I'll take it as a lesson.

Great find jljquiter!!!!!!! Wish I was there. The hunt is fun but the find is way better!

Lucky you, not all Goodwill's are created equal.

I found a bolt of black, 10yds for $10 awhile back, but usually all they have is double knit polyester! I wonder if some of the employees buy it. I know of at least one manager that has boxes of fabric she has bought before it ever got to the floor. We were teaching her to quilt and she brought in at least 3 boxes of fabric...all kinds. We helped her pick cotton fabric for her quilt top.

That is wonderful. I looked at our local Goodwill but nothing was priced so I didn't buy anything.

I find good deals at Goodwill all the time. I check for fabrics every time I stop in. You did hit the Mother lode! Congrats to you!
