I made one of each of these for my small quilt group Christmas gift exchange. I only had to make one of each, but they would go fast if you want to make a bunch. I get my coffee mugs...UGLY ones!....at Goodwill!

http://needlingthings.blogspot.com/2...d-catcher.html I added some weight to the bottom by sewing on a triangle to echo the base size. Before I sewed it closed, I put in some of those plastic beads (for bean bags I think)

Wow!! Great ideas!! How about the pincushions made on golf tees. They fit into a spool of thread. Great for scraps.

I made needle pincushions for my students for Christmas. 2 1/2 " squares filled with steel wool. Tied with a red burlap ribbon. Put a needle in each one. Passed a gift baag and let everyone pick one without looking. everyone was tickled pink. You can do any size, but these were out, and quick to do.

I was hoping to get some ideas from people all over for sussies, so I can start making them for this Christmas. I hope I get ideas of something that no one in my bee has made. I have only been in the bee 2 years and would like to impress them. Thanks in advance for any and all ideas. Happy Quilting

How about folded star Christmas ornaments? I've always thought these were really pretty.

I am pretty sure that either Billy or Stewy gave us the tubing idea. It sure works for me. PS, have heard of Tussy Mussies, but never Sussies. How's that for tongue twisters?
