I use an Elmers School Glue Stick to stick down the first piece, that way it does not shift on you when you line up the next piece. The paper still peels off easily.

We are so glad that you are joining in the fun of making the Calendar Theme BOM, for this year. Your block turned out wonderful, I just love your color's & the way you have put them together. All of the blocks so far have been awesome, yours included!! I forsee some gorgeous quilts by the end of the year. Thank you for sharing with all of us.

Penguin's, how precious is that? Your Snow Blossom block tuned out teriffic. I just love the little critter's you have use in putting this great block together. A job well done, that's for sure. We are so glad that you have joined in with all of the rest of us. Keep up the great work!!

It is almost as much fun to look at all the pictures of such varied blocks as it is to make one. I love all the color choices. I have never belonged to a quilting group before, but am really enjoying my time here. This board has been great fun. I can't wait for the February challenge.

I'm planning on using batiks for my entire quilt. I will add some different colors, depending on the pattern. I think I will only use small amounts of blues because my 2011 Stars BOM Quilt has a lot of blue and yellow...want something a little different for this one. I hope I can come up with nice combinations. I loved doing the Snowblossom block and am looking forward to February.
