Is it too risky? Tell me why I should - or shouldn't - order these!

IF you look at the larger version she posted before, it is purple, not black. And I believe it is intended for the Spring Christian holidays. And it would be perfect for that. I recently did some potholders from purple, gold and black and am in love with the purple and gold combo....Great table runners, I'd say...

I saw the sneak preview - Holiday Flourish 5 and I really like a lot of the fabric, including the Wineberry. However, I don't buy fat quarters; also, I think most or all of those flowers, etc., are too big for FQ.

I would have to consider what has sold in the past - did you carry the Hoilday Flourish 3 or 4. If so did you buy the pre-cuts in those lines and how did they do. Personally I bought the Flourish 4 line and would not have bought FQs due to the size of the prints. Most of these have large motifs that don't lend themselves to small pieces.

I rarely buy pre-cut fabrics as I cannot justify the cost for me.
I usually buy multiple yardage when a fabric strikes my fancy. I'm definitely more into traditional Christmas color ways...that meaning I would be drawn to more reds ~ greens ~ gold. However, I think like others have said, when you are bit by that purple bug it's addicting! :0)
I think that this line is lovely but simply by my color preference for Christmas fabric lines, I would probably would not buy yardage of this collection and definitely not any pre-cuts. JMHO

Somebody told me that this past Christmas (2011), everywhere they went, people were using purple in their decorations. I did not see it myself, but then I avoided all stores and shopped online and made my own gifts. I would not buy it personally. I like more traditional Christmas colors, with a little aqua thrown it, but that is just my taste.
