    I've just finished piecing a "Rainbow Whirligig" Found the pattern in the magazine called Australian Patchwork and Quilting. I'm sure you can find this on line.

    Do a search for jelly roll quilts--that should give you lots of suggestions for the 2.5" strips. have fun with it.
