I'm just wondering if anyone here is an American Quilt Society certified quilt appraiser or if anyone has taken classes with them. As a vintage fabric and quilt fan, I've been really interested in this program and have wanted to order all of the books that they recommend. If anyone has had any experience with this program or classes I'd love to hear about it!

For those who are not familiar with them, you can check out their site at: http://www.americanquilter.com/

and the appraisal program at:

I have no experience with the program, have taken no classes, and am not a certified appraiser, but I would take ANY class taught by Gerald Roy in a heartbeat! He is brilliant and is one of the kindest people I have ever met (he lives just the other side of the mountain from me :D ). He was one of the first board members of the appraisal program and helped establish the certification guidelines. If you have specific questions, he would probably be willing to answer them for you. The contact info is on his website at http://pilgrimroy.com/
