​Here it is! I decided on the blue border instead of white! Love it!

yes that blue border just highlighted your quilt more. it definately changes the focus, the blue border makes the reds pop more and give the eye a small place to rest while scanning the quilt. beautiful!

Jeanie I think the blue border really changed the focus. I had already decided to use a colored border but if I hadn't this sure would have clinched it.

I agree with Coyote. I have also decided to add a solid border when my quilt top is done to let the eyes rest. And I am also making the Ohio Stars with the same center fabric to give the quilt another place to rest the eye. Yes, I would have been further ahead but 5 days without power stopped my progress. Can you imagine, I have three treadle machines and one hand crank and all of them are in various stages of fixing and restoration? I am going to remedy that situation ASAP.
