Hello and welcome from an Iowa girl!
A former 4-Her here, too, whose blood still has a little green in it.

Good morning from northwest Iowa, do you belong to a guild, or a small group? And which is your favorite shop? We went to Omaha often for medical reasons, for several years, and I would snatch an hour to pat fabric--Gingham Goose at Council Bluffs was always the best.

mmb, have you been to Cedar Falls before? I used to live there, if you have time to shop you might want to check out these two quilt shops. Crazy to Quilt & Lulijunes, they are both listed in the phone book.

I belong to the Des Moines Guild and a same club in home town. I travel about 50 mi the Des Moines Guild but its worth to here the speakers. I like all the Des Moines shops. Ialso shop in Creston at Quilts and Other Notions. She has about everything. I have been to Seams to Be in Parkersburg??? not sure of town name but its south of Omaha in NE. Its a nice shop. My car usually stops when it sees a sign that says Fabric.

Yes I've been to Cedar Falls. I lived there for 3 years in the early 90's. I used to manage a Northwest Fabrics on Cedarloo border it was across from the Hancocks. Its a NAPA store now but I really haven't been back since they closed that location.
