I bought fabric several months ago, and apparently I had a bit too much coffee and somehow thought they went together. I pieced together enough for a baby quilt/throw and decided I hated it. It looks like Hawaiian shirts mated and vomited out a little scrappy baby.
I took it out today and still hate it, but I added the border...and I'll eventually convince myself to sandwich it.
ops: On the bright side, I'm planning a vacation...and I won't have to worry about the quilt police yelling at me when I'm sitting on it on the beach.

Give up the coffee - just kidding. That quilt is beautiful and you can send it to me if you can't bear to keep it. Put it away till after your vacation, the next time you look at it you will appreciate it more and I bet it will start to grow on you. Thank you for sharing.

In my opinion, you really needed an inner border - perhaps a turquoise or magenta that would bring it all together. Your inside design is fun !!! This is just a thought to consider next time. I usually do one or two inner borders (of different sizes) to define the interior of the quilt. Your quilt is still beautiful and would welcome this as a gift anytime.
