I like the revision of A-1, too, and I'm eventually going to redo mine. I've ordered silk thread from both redrockthreads.com and superiorthreads.com -- both are good sources. I like Red Rock because they also carry Presencia 60-wt. thread. It makes quite a difference in putting together these little bitty blocks.

I found a YLI silk thread gift pack at Connecting Threads. It was the best price that I could find and the colors are perfect for my pink, chocolate and cream DJ: http://www.connectingthreads.com/Too...5__D20310.HTML

    Hi, ladies!
That it have been busy! All blocks and fabric are Wonderful!
Many thanks to Linda and Nancy for details of A-1! I'm glad have not done yet.
I have EQ program but I will try to test with your instructions.
I would love to buy this program, but you know somewhere where sold it for download? Not with shipping box.

On the website of Karen Kay Buckley, there are also a few threads of silk at a good price and I use in all my limits and they are wonderful. They are in this link http:www.karenkaybuckley.comstore.php?cat7
Cre8tvlwyr this pattern has me in love! I'm looking for where I saw him to tell him! I love the thumbnails! Someday I'll try!
A hug to all! I'm going to prepare lunch!

My week three blocks all completed. I have six blocks in baggies ready to go. I am so glad that I picked up this project again. I have a method to get the blocks prepped while the kids are asleep and hand piece while I wait on them to finish meals. It is turning into a very productive time for me. Right now it is all about finding bits of time between other things. I'm contemplating digging deeper into the UFO bin to see what other things have been abandoned that could benefit from 10 mins here and there.

GV09, I think that the best way to find out if EQ is available as a download is to go to their website http://www.electricquilt.com/ and ask them. I suspect that there is not a downloadable version. A large user manual comes with the software. I have to say, though, that I rarely use it... the EQ software Help usually tells me all I need to know. Thanks for the link to the silk thread site... the silk is so much better on these tiny pieces

ND... your blocks are perfect! glad that you found a way to get them done

    Default B10

I'm trying my best to keep up to date. I have three weeks completed but having a real hard time with B10. I've looked on dearjane.com for tips and also on thatquilt.com. Neither suggestions are helping me. Paper piecing the tiny pieces in the center is a nightmare. Cutting them to size would be even worse.

    Any help will be appreciated

I have never done a drunkard's path block. So the That Quilt method helped me. However, I didn't like all the pins... got in my way. Where she removed the freezer paper, I left it on. Then pinned just the ends, squaring them with the sides of the inside piece. With the freezer paper still on, this curved the top piece stiffly sticking up. I then used a bead of Elmer's glue along the bottom seam allowance. With the freezer paper on, if you try to pull the two pieces flat as if they are already sewn, that lines the seam up just right. This is how it looks when glued.

ND Quilts, Beautiful week three blocks. I really like them! Glad you are finding bits of time to work on them.

Nancy, thanks for the help with the circle inside. I have not tried any of the week four ones yet...have not done any curved pieces before.
