There is a plate you can put on your machine that is thicker than normal so that the feed dogs don't reach the fabric. best fix for older machine. Good luck.

Your quilts are so lovely. I am so glad you enjoy FMQ as it is a wonderful way to quilt. I do a lot of hand work, but quilting is not one of them. I have tried several times and came out with bloody finger tips, then decided to never try again.

Beautiful, I love FMQ and about the only way I quilt. Hand piecing is not for me, too much time. I don't watch TV, just listen.
