The polka dot and the beige with flowers maybe too big a print. Keep in mind the blocks are going to be cut up, leaving
not much more than background. Try substituting smaller prints.

I like all your fabrics, but I would leave out either the orange or the red. You can always use them one or the other for backing or borders. I don't think I would put both of them in the quilt. It seems that they would fight each other. Love your inspector--hard at work.

I love the first 4 but I think that you probably could use all of them and add a deep color like Jan said.

I would use the 1st four, the dots for the backing and the red for the binding. Maybe the red in just a couple of blocks throughout the quilt

I guess I am in the minority.... again. LOL I don't see any orange in the floral, so I would use the red as the center square. I would go with the floral, the red and the aqua if you just want 3 colors. Or I would alternate blocks using those 3 for one set and the floral, red and beige in the other.
The beige floral for corner squares that do not get cut. the aqua for the 4 center side squares and the red for the middle square.

I would make it a 3-color quilt using your fav and the beautiful reads-as-solid blue for the outside patches and the orange (I see it in your fav, that little dot!) for the center square. Contrast is so important in a D9P so the new pattern is showcased!

I would use all the colors. The polka dot is a unifying fabric, it has all the colors in it, thus making all the colors play well toghther.

I would use them all. You can take the one you dislike the most and use it for the center square which will be cut up the smallest.
