I know what you are going to do with all that fabric. Send it to me. That is gorgeous fabric.

Ok so this fabric made me (MADE ME) fall off my fabric diet. This board is too enabling! Have 12 of the 13 in this line coming to me. Wish I got the bargain you got but am happy nonetheless. Gorgeous line of reds!

Yes but I did spend $900 and buy 50 yards of fabric previously to get that deal. I want more of the dark red but we will see.

I'm doing a similar red and white quilt - jelly roll style. I'm worried about the red bleeding into the whites. I know I'm going to prewash each piece before cutting. Anything that bleeds won't be used. Any other tips?

I have found with good quality fabric it does not bleed. I did not prewash this but I did set some in a dish of water for two days and not a drop of bleeding. Older fabric and lesser quality I have no idea about but if you have any question prewash it.

Grandma58: Have you ever used the RETANE product? Fabrics you are using for the quilt can be prewashed altogether with this in hot water for 20 minutes and do not bleed. Haven't ever had a problem. Cool water laundering after that. I prewash all my cotton fabrics this way. It's worth the minimal cost of the product. Much less time involved with this process. Good Luck in the future.

I have used Retane and it ruined something expensive and I will never use it again. It was a case of buying cheap fabric which I also will not do again. good quality fabric never gives me any trouble. I am glad you have not had a problem with it.
