Izy, You are a remarkable woman. You will look back with fond memories that you were able to care for him at home. I am a bereavement counsellor and you are doing some of the things I always tell my clients. Sit back, perhaps reclaim an old hobby and take your time. Time does not "heal all things" as some people say, it is what you do with your time that makes the difference. Prayers and good thoughts to you.
Thank you to everyone who has taken the time to express their condolences, you are all so thoughtful x

last year was a year of loss for me, so i've had a taste of what you're going thru. i will hold you in my thoughts, prayers and heart. friends here on the board are still helping me heal, and we will do the same for you! just pm one of us and we will listen and do our best to soothe and comfort. healing takes time. i still want to cry sometimes, and shout and curse, and just give up, but i don't. mostly because i have friends here, and family that help keep me centered. i wish you strength and faith, and you will come through this. welcome home! so sorry for your loss.
