Wow, great design and beauriful quilt! Would love this pattern!
What is the process of desgning? Do you draw it out on graph paper using colored pencils? Then do you figure out how to do your cutting, and then figure out how to piece it together, and then figure out your yardage? How long did the whole design process take?
It looks like it would take a pretty long time to figure it all out.

This is my first quilt done on point. I was really nervous. I used to go the colored pencil route and graph paper but now I use Electric Quilt. When I purchased it, I wondered if I would really get enough use out of it and I sure have! But I'm a little bit of a perfectionist, and still check all of the rotary cutting measurements it gives me before I cut.
It took me about a week to design, cut, sew and quilt.
