Why is that when you use up scraps to make a top, you never have enough to make a backing? I made my own jelly roll from fabric on hand but had to go buy fabric for backing. Now I really have to try to quilt it myself instead of sending it to a LAQ.

great use of your scraps! I'm working om making a scrapy back for a grandmothers flower garden top.Hoping to make a dent in my stash. I think your sewing room must be great too,large table and rulers all hanging on the wall.Looking good.
