I feel your pain. We've all been there. Put it up for while and try again later.

Your situation sounds like so many that many of us have experienced. Walking away for awhile sometimes helps. Or not

Way to do it,because if things keep going bad,I get frustrated and make more mistakes.I had 1 top that I put away for about 2 years, found it 1 day, finished in 1 day.I think it had to rest for awhile.

When I get frustrated, I usually come into my computer room and get on this website and cruise around and read a lot of threads and then I feel renewed and excited about getting back to my quilting. That is what I am doing right now. I've been "sewing" since 5 am this morning and couldn't take it for another minute. This refreshes me.

Hope it worked out in the end. My mom used to say, "I should have stood in bed today". (Yes, stood) LOL

Oh Jan I'm so sorry you had such a hard time on Tues. At least Tues. was a nice day. I bet you enjoyed sitting in the sun. Today I wouldn't want to go out & sit w/ the wind the way it was.

I know how you feel. I am working on a quilt that might become a UFO hidden in the very back of my closet if it misbehaves any more.

I've been sewing all day as well, 8" pinwheel blocks...49 of them. I was putting them up on the design board as I finished them and everytime the door was opened, 5 to 7 of them would blow off. I just have 7 more to go, but decided a break was in order, so here I am. I'm going to finish them tomorrow and start sewing them together in rows.
I'm on a diet, so no chocolate. I don't drink, so no wine. I'm down to the diet soda!

OMG !! I am so glad I am not the only one that has these days. You did good to walk away. I get hard headed and get to the point that I want to scream! LOL... I don't though ... nobody to hear anyway.
