Deer Photo
When I spent two weeks down in Key West , FL visiting my son and his family, I saw Key West deer and got several photos of one who came up to the parking area and under the staircase. I know have a photo of it but can't find it but I will keep trying to find it

I have those lovely creatures come for breakfast lunch and dinner. Years ago I was able to by deer food for them but it was outlawed. So we went to corn and bread. now that has become very expensive so I still try to give them something especially in the winter. Lived most of my life in the City so moving to the Country was a wonderful experiance in my old age to enjoy them.

a friend of mine had a feeder in her suburban yard and woke up one morning to a totally bent over feeder pole. after she partially straightened it out and stood it back up, she stayed awake to see what happened. it was a deer coming for the feed and knocking the pole over to reach the seeds that fell on the ground. she started leaving out scraps of veggies and fruit (over ripe bananas, bruised apples, orange peels, carrot scrapings, potato peels, sad parsley, etc.) and before she knew it the deer was eating that instead of breaking down the feeder. make sure it's not against the law, and taper off when they can fend for themselves.
