Understand where you are at. It took me awhile to really be able to get back into quilting or anything after loosing my husband to cancer coming up on 3 years now. The quilting does help to re-leave the pain some. Very hard since he was my biggest supporter! Hang in there, it does get easier, not better, but easier!

Thanks Donna, you are so right. Things are just different now and I realise what a part John played in my quilting, I miss asking him if I should go with this fabric or that and showing him what I have made...I like to think he is watching over me and giving me a nudge in the right direction

This is just too cute for words. I know the little one will squeal with delight when he sees it. Sorry to hear of your DH passing. I'm glad the quilting is helping and I look forward to seeing more of your projects.
