If you think it is that ugly, have a raffle with the names of those who like it. Beauty is in the eye of beholder

That is what I was thinking, OBW. It may only make one small block, but it would be something! You wouldnt be able tell how ugly it was before.

Those aren't flowers, they are tree fungus. Actually, I kind of like that piece.

I would make a pinwheel quilt out of this. Might think it is ugly now.But it will be a very pretty quilt.

Default O.K. so i'm weird

I like it. It looks fun. I would use it in just about anything I make and like it when i'm done. Maybe mix it in a twister?

Pick 8 fabrics that go with the ugly FQ. Make a "Slice and Dice" (looks like a "Crazy Quilt" pattern). When your done, you will have 9 blocks with only a small piece of offending material in it or various shapes, and enough squares to make a project with. If your unsure of pattern, email me.

How much do you have to use? If you have to use a big majority of it then I would use as small a cut as you possibly can without making them tooo small. My mom has said that if you think that your fabric is stilll too ugly then your square is not small enough. My suggestion is to just to make it into a small wall hanging and what is left of it you can put as a small piping or use as the backing, that way you will be the only one that would have to see it if you decided that you just needed to view it again.

I would use it to make a chenille pillow top. Go to the link provided to see how to make chenille.

I do not think that the fabric is as ugly as you think. Remember the smaller that you cut the pieces-the less ugly they become.
