Very beautiful!!! It looks exactly like stained glass with the thinner lines. Love it and thanks for the idea. Doing a stained glass quilt is on my one day list

Beautiful quilt, I have a lot of stain glass my DH does it for a hobby and your quilt looks like a lot of the roses he has done for me. Keep up the good work.

What an exquisite piece. The thinner "lead lines" really do make it special and the fabrics...Wow. Great story too. Thank you so much for sharing with us.

I am so impressed with your spending such quality time with some sweet ladies at the nursing home. My dmil spent a few years in one and I don't know that anyone ever spent time visiting with them except family members. You are so kind to spend your time with them. I don't think I could make anything that beautiful while talking with friends! You are awesome!

Really lovely! The use of the black yarn is so much finer than most stained glass with bias tape. I will be sure to use this technique the next time I try stained glass. My youngest DD has put in a request for a pictorial with leading and now I know what to use. Thanks for sharing!
