I often say I'm going to be constructive today and spend hours here no motivation except on her in my mind

I closed down all the other web sites I used to look at each day and now only do this one. But it still takes me hours. I should be putting the binding on quilts for the RV park quilt show. And here I sit.

I spent 6 hours on this site (my favorite by the way). So I had to shower and run to town and come home and cook dinner. No sewing done at all. Does anyone else spend hours on this site? It's so addictive to me. I love the main section and the tutorials. Today I am spending one hour and then going to sew (hopefully). I just love the fellowship of this site and all the helpful people. It's like a "big family" here. So, does anyone else stay on this site for hours at a time?
I do the same thing. I can't believe how the time goes. I'm very protective of this time on the quilting board.

I find myself getting more used to the new format and therefore am enjoying it more than at the first.

Ditto I've been amazed at pictures of quilts.

I so agree...I have learned so much from this board as a "newbee" quilter. I have been inspired to try many new techniques!

I love the sight also. It is fun & informative.I like the people & have learned so many different ideas. I enjoy it in the evening. There isn't much on TV. I enjoy. Right now the news is on, I sometimes do both. My husband watches movies I don't care about. We can still visit. I quilt during the day for a few hours. Balance is the key. Rowena101
