Why don't you just order the 'Midnight garden' from Jan Douglas? I am sure her pattern now isn't far off the one that was in McCall's.

You are right, of course, but I didn't like all the borders. Silly of me because we don't know what border is on the McCalls version. I have even drawn it up the design, but I'd just like the magazine. I like the one offered as a raffle prize.

This beautiful quilt knocked me over when I first saw its picture from a quilt show. It is really gorgeous. I saved a picture and figured that I could graph out the blocks. Maybe I will look for the Midnight Garden pattern.

Hi Daisy. I could do that! Am sending to another "daisy" and that's also my middle name! When I scan it into my computer it will be a .jpeg file that can be opened with a picture editing program like a photo would.
I can try e-mailing it to you or if that doesn't work, I'll mail it. I'll let you know first.
Enjoy!

This quilt was featured in McCalls Quilting Magazine December 2006. Sometimes you can contact the magazine and they will send you the back issue. Good luck. I have the issue as it is my plan to make this quilt someday. I have had it open to this page for quite some time, but other quilts keep cropping up. LOL

Wish I could help, Kathy, I've never seen this pattern. I'd love to get a copy if there is a pattern somewhere. It's a beautiful design.
