Nothing wrong with that quilt. You worry too much. Finish it up, put it away for a while, and when you see it again it will look much better. Clarice

It's not as bad as you make it to be, I think it's rather nice. It will look nicer when you finally quilt it, and if you still don't like it, you can always donate it somewhere - the receipent will just love it!

You did a GREAT job! I never would have tried that pattern as my first quilt, But you must be a natural !! Even your points are great, something I still work on.

ITA with the others... why would you think it is ghastly!? Looks great to me! Can't wait to see it quilted.

A quilting friend of mine has the Flying Geese thingie you mentioned and loves it. I have done the one seam Flying Geese method and it is super easy, much faster than the traditional way, and very accurate.

Fantastic job! I'm amazed it was your first quilt!

Lov it, wait till you quilt it. It will change again. I just love the colors together and the quilt keeps your eye moving.

It isn't ghastly; it's charming. If it were perfect, it would look machine made. I like the imperfections. It says that someone took the time to do it. Finish it and be proud. In years to come, you can pull it out and admire how far you've progressed.
