oksewglad, I saw this fabric and thought of you. It has a lot of cute squirrels on it. It might be a little bright but thought you'd like to check it out. It's from Fabric.com and it's called "Birds and Squirrels up a Tree/Gold."

Now that's cute! And I can see OKSGlad FCing the brightness away, and framing it up with some darks!
It's even folk art'ish!!

I only said squirrelly will go into hibernation, not AWOL. He is a cute little fella I must admit. Thanks for sharing the squirrels and birdies. The piece I used for the cow in Children's delight has some nice pieces to FC, too. Anyone got their blocks sewn for tonight's presentation? Have fabrics chosen, just may go sew now!

And you deserve it OKSGlad .... after the last couple of days, sewing therapy will be a good reward for you!
And yup, there's blocks up already for you!

I have to say I never wanted to do the FW blocks because I am not a big fan of the fabrics. But I LOVE LOVE horses/western and have a HUGE stash of these kind. All of your blocks are so wonderful and inspiring to look at. Is it too late to try and attempt this with you all?

Heck no,
LovingIzabella ... there's no time requirement! I didn't start with the others as I was finishing my FWS blocks. Once I did start, I jumped in with the current week's blocks and have ridden along with the group. Gradually, I am working on the first blocks to catch up. And now this week, I'm probably going to just ride in the background as now I'm trying to work on the final sashing etc. of the FWS.

FAbrics don't matter for either quilts ... if you take a look at the threads you'll see that there was a full range of choices used in the FWS. And that now, not all are using the pony theme for the PC.

So
Howdyyyyyyy, LovingIzabella .. cowgirl up and join this posse!!!
