I agree it looks like 1930s type fabric, and it looks like it has been washed quite a few times. Vintage is great. I do think that whoever had that quilt did take care of it because it looks very clean and pretty. I love dresden plate design and boy did you get a find.

this quilt was done in the 30's, at least started then. It's in fantastic condition! To wash it, (I know you didn't ask) use Orvus soap and wash it in the bath tub. You have a very nice quilt!
