    Thanks again for all the kind comments. She adores it. I haven't been able to get the nasty, worn used-to-be-soft minkee blanket away from her yet....it may just have to disappear one of these days :lol: In the mean time, her quilt seems like it fits in just fine around here. We've been talking about her favorite dresses and playing I spy with the back, too. All around, it's a big HIT.

    Now, if only I could whip out my niece's quilt that I've been working on for the past year and half!!!

    Wow! Your quickie quilt is so bright, cheerful and pretty and it looks just lovely. For a whole quilt of FIRSTS, you really did an outstanding job. Good job.

    I love this quilt!! what is the name of the pattern, or did you use a pattern? I would love to attempt this for my daughters toddler bed.
